Peacebringer

Few who have run afoul of a Guild special investigation team, and lived to tell the tale, would argue the Peacebringer revolver, manufactured Earthside by the Haaken Manufacturing Company, is one of the deadliest weapons known to modern man. Not only does it fire .44 caliber cartridges but sports a wicked iron slicing blade mounted to the base of the stock. Guild agents must undergo rigorous marksmanship and melee training with a Peacebringer before they are issued one in the field. Experts, such as Santiago Ortega, are capable of alternating between slicing with the blade and firing the pistol with such blinding speed and unerring accuracy that both blade and bullet strike their target at nearly the same instant. Unauthorised individuals discovered by the Guild to be in possession of a Peacebringer earn themselves a short trip to the gallows, or more often, executed with the very firearm they had stolen from the Guild.
