Guild Guard

With ranks more numerous than the Guild’s special departments, the Guard is the face of law enforcement that the City’s residents most often see. Trained in general peacekeeping duties, Guardsmen patrol the City’s streets and man its numerous checkpoints. On their backs, the responsibilities of civil order are borne, forging a sense of brotherhood among their numbers. With a quick series of shrill whistle calls summoning backup, a Guardsman can turn a no-win situation into a victory for law and order.

Because their duties may bring them into conflict with criminals both natural and unnatural, Guardsmen are well trained in the use of their Guild-issued arms, a fact no City resident should ever forget.
