Ruins

Beyond the City of 0. To be Organised/Malifaux is a diverse wilderness of swamps, forests, and snow-capped mountains. All of these places reveal the presence of a vanished people as ruins of their occupation are littered throughout the world.

Many of these ruins exist as mysterious machines, such as the towering spires of Kythera. Other ruins seem constructed with astronomical purposes, and still others are remote laboratories and vaults of buried knowledge. When discovered, these ruins are usually looted of any valuable artifacts and books sold to local scholars. Some of these ruins are riddled with traps, both mechanical and mystical, and these vaults have withstood countless attempts at breaching them
